Dimplex Chadwick Fire Suites
The Chadwick Suite from Dimplex is one of the most popular fire suites on the market, with its Optiflame fire effect.
As a complete suite, it comes it's free standing and offers a heat output of 1.2 kW. If you wish to have it produce the flame effect, without having the heating switched on, then the power consumption is only 130 watts.
The suite has a fan heater and electronic stat. As you would expected, it comes with a fitted plug, meaning that it is ready to go. Many people like the fact that you can have it produce the flame effect without needing to have the appliance produce heat.
That means that you can have a cosy atmosphere, even if you don't want the room to get hotter!

Once you receive your Chadwick Fireplace, manufactured by Dimplex, you should be careful when removing the appliance from its packaging - you may want to use that packaging in the future, particularly in the case of moving home.
The Chadwick is designed to be free standing - most people choose to place them against a wall where they can create a striking effect, helping to mimic that created by a more traditional fireplace.
Does the fire make a noise? There is some background noise created by the flame effect but this is perfectly normal.
